We need to focus some effort to develop an initial outline of the philosophy and concepts of security. We have to ponder the needs of the security professional. The goal is to design and operate this through a process that is transparent -- with materials made available to the professional community under an appropriate license.
This is where we are developing initial content around the Life Cycle of the Security Professional -- and the professional development needs.

The community thrives by supporting professionals who post questions, share ideas and generate discussion. This is central to our efforts, and demonstrates how we grow and support one another. As the discussion tapers and we feel more complete, then we will follow a process to migrate the elements to the wiki and work through the appropriate details.
We also need to focus on the "how-to" aspects of building and operating a professional community as a open-source style collaborative. That requires focus on process engineering to guide the development of requirements and training.
